It was indeed a fortune for the students of class 9 to be able to attend the event and have a worthwhile and meaningful interaction with the specially-challenged people.
Initially, it was heart-rending for us to see them, as not only adults but also kids were physically impaired. But over the time when we talked to them, they all became a. magnificent source of motivation for us.
Despite all the adversities that life had bestowed upon them, they were expressing gratitude for what they had, were having an optimistic approach towards life and were radiating positivity and joy. Most of them believed in the fact that “their abilities were way greater than their disabilities”. However a few kids were still struggling to break the chains of their physical disabilities and fly high to achieve their dreams .So we found it our responsibility to ignite a spark of hope in those kids and make them believe in the magical power they had within themselves.
A conversation with them inspired us to stay strong no matter what the circumstances are and to remain grateful to the Almighty for everything He has provided us with.
All of them really were “true heroes” as they had the power and strength within themselves to persevere and endure in spite of the overwhelming obstacles that life throws at them.
Our Principal Rev. Sr. Leena on behalf of St. Patrick's Jr College has donated two tricycles.
