On the 15th of August, the campus of St. Patrick’s Jr. College reverberated with the sound of patriotic songs as the students and teachers made their way to school to celebrate the 68th year of India’s Independence. After the unfurling of the National flag and the March Past, Sr. Gracy Paul our Principal released a pigeon and balloons in the air symbolizing freedom and joy. The children processed to the Hall for the Prayer Service and the cultural programme when was organized by the students of class X-A & X-B under the able guidance of their class teachers. It included songs, dances, skits and power point presentations. At the end of the programme our Principal Sr. Gracy Paul delivered an extremely motivational speech and distributed ice creams to one and all.
